The Artists change the perspective on the baths and thus enable visitors to rediscover their own city and the baths. Nowhere does the dialog between art and the public work as directly as in “public space”.
The fifth JETZT KUNST exhibition will take place at the Marzili outdoor pool in Bern from October to December 2024. The exhibition in the “Kunstraum Marzili” is intended to showcase current cultural and artistic diversity.
To this end, 21 professional artists from different generations have been invited.
The Marzili Bad forms an exciting exhibition venue and hub where different aspects such as leisure and consumer culture, architecture, politics, nature and urban space meet and merge.
The invitation to the exhibition is intended to encourage artists to create site-specific works or to place an existing work in dialog with the location.
The exhibition also offers a platform to promote regional exchange and networking between artists.
